I always thought when I became a Christian at 13 years old that the persecutions would lead to glamour later for the lives of Christians on the earth. I kept waiting for the release from persecution and it never came.

But then Jesus tells us a figurative story about the poor man and Lazarus. The poor man ended up in a beautiful place. I know in the judgement day Jesus will be very popular but to many people he will say “Depart from me.”
